10 signs that tell you it's time to go to the dentist
I avoid the dentist at all costs. No matter how piercing the toothache. If you're like me, here are 10 signs that imply you should probably see a dentist some time soon:
- You never leave home without taking painkillers with you.
- Toothpicks aren't long enough to reach to the bottom of your dental cavities.
- Your 12 year old dog has a fresher breath than yourself.
- Eating becomes a dangerous and exhausting task that requires full attention.
- The thought of cracking a nut with your teeth makes you faint.
- Headaches don't irritate you any more, they provide practice grounds for your will against pain.
- When you wake up in the morning without a toothache, you feel lucky.
- When you go to bed at night after a day that you didn't lose another chip of your teeth, you feel lucky.
- You can't stand the taste of your own mouth without a spearmint gum.
- You read all these with a wry, knowing grin, instead of pure horror.
